Mick and Erica got married at the Bawley Bush Cottages on the NSW south coast. I’ve know these two legends for a few years now and I was so excited when they asked me to part of their wedding because they’re two of the loveliest people you’ll meet!!
There were so many beautiful touches throughout the day. From getting ready in a house that Erica’s dad built (designed in a hexagon shape because Erica liked hexagons) to the bouquets being local wild flowers hand picked that morning. From a photography point of view we also did something a little different. Because M+ E didn’t want to be away from the party too long we decided to do the bulk of the photos the following day – at sunrise. Pretty crazy but they didn’t hesitate when I suggested it. I’m so glad we did it because we got some amazing stuff!!
I’ve been going down to the Bawley Point area for family holidays over 30 years now (from when I was about 6 months!). It was a great feeling to go exploring and take some amazing photos in a place that I know so well.
Mick and Erica – you guys are awesome. I hope these photos bring a massive smile to your dial.
