Clare and Rich Athol Hall Wedding

P I N____________________save this for later

Clare and Rich’s wedding was amazing. One of those weddings where everybody looked like they were having a good time – including me! When I’m shooting a 12 hour+ wedding I usually get pretty tired at some stage. But not at this one. It just went so quick and it was all over before I knew it. A true testament to Clare and Rich, their family and friends. An absolute great bunch of people and I look forward to doing more weddings with such warm and loving souls.

These guys met while travelling in Croatia. Rich from the UK. Clare on her way back to Australia after living in the UK. Rich apparently had some interesting hair habits but Clare was still keen anyway  🙂  After spending some time together in Croatia Rich took the plunge and packed his bags for Oz to see if he could make things work with the girl from down under. Clare’s parents were kind enough to let him move in under the same roof as them (very keen Rich!), and the rest is history as they say.

Clare and Rich – thank you. You guys are seriously good people. Really looking forward to staying in touch!

Ceremony and reception at Athol Hall in Mosman.

Celebrant – Sophie Coombes (the nicest celebrant I’ve met)

For any photographers out there I went for a new lens combo for most of the wedding (except for the reception). I ran the 45mm/105mm for most of it. I’ll be running with this combo for all outdoor weddings from now on!

Lynne Moody - Some stunning shots but very disappointed not to see some real Iconic Sydney shots of the bridal party. You took some with the Bridge but these are mainly garage doors. Could be back in Birmingham instead of in the most gorgeous city in the world!

Sorry there aren’t any family pictures either,.

perhaps we Brits are too traditional but it would have been good to show our friends and relatives over here that we really were in Sydney!ReplyCancel

Scott - Hi Lynne, sorry to disappoint but those shots haven’t made the blog post. I don’t usually post family images on here. Once Rich and Clare get the images next week I’m sure they’ll share these with you.ReplyCancel

    Lynne Moody - Hi Scott,
Thanks for your prompt reply. I shall look forward to seeing all the photos eventually.
It feels a long way off when you are back home on the other side of the world and I was just hoping to share photos of Clare’s family and ours through your web site.
There are some wonderful shots and I have already spent a lot of time looking through them.
Photos and memories are keeping me going just at the moment as I am missing Rich and Clare and everyone in Sydney so much!
