YESTER GRANGE, BLUE MOUNTAINS, NSW.
As soon as I met Bec and Anth they felt like old friends. Down-to-Earth sweethearts, the both of them. I was instantly excited to be part of their day and even more so once they told me all about Yester Grange in the Blue Mountains. This venue seemed to have it all including some amazing views (check out that ceremony location!) so it got me wondering, why hadn’t I heard of Yester Grange before? I think it’s because when Sydney people want to get married outside of the city they immediately think of going up or down the coast, but they forget about going mountain-side. It’s so beautiful, I think more people should get married there!
This wedding had it all in my opinion. Two beautiful souls, incredible location and scenery (The mountains, I’m telling you people!), nice light all day, Bec and Anth being up for an adventure and the most ridiculous sunset ever. They also couldn’t keep their hands off each other which makes my job so much easier. Bec and Anth decided to go sans-bridal party which is becoming a more popular thing to do. They still got ready with their mates but it meant that the time we had for photos I could just concentrate on the two of them.
Bec and Anth, thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer out of the thousands of photographers you could have chosen. I look forward to catching up again some day.
p.s. Anth is a really awesome tattoo artist based in the Byron Hinterland. If you’re ever up in the Alstonville area and need some new ink he runs The Hammer and Quill.
